Why not join Sliding Tackle for an exciting girls’ football tour to the vibrant city of Alicante, Spain (Europe’s sunniest city) where football passion meets Mediterranean charm. Designed for girls seeking to enhance their skills, experience Spanish football culture, and enjoy a memorable holiday with their teammates, our tour offers a perfect blend of football, culture, and leisure. The tour is being led by Lucy Jones the Derby County and England goalkeeper. She joined Derby County ahead of the 2024/25 season having been on their books at Under-10s level. She has previous experience in the FA Women’s National League, playing for West Bromwich Albion on a dual-registration deal from Birmingham City in the 2023/24 season. Jones has pedigree at the international level too, gaining caps for England Under 18s. Your tour will be based at the Hotel Bonalba a four-star hotel located 15 minutes from Alicante. It's surrounded by beautiful gardens and one of Spain premier golf courses. It has an outdoor and indoor swimming pool and its own private football pitches where our coaching sessions and matches are held.
